Networking Social Agenda…

AgendasMeet and greet like-minded individuals who really want to make a difference. Helping towards making animal shelters more successful in finding homes for abandoned cats and dogs. These events are also a great way to make business and social connections. Anyone is welcome to attend and there is no hard work involved. Bring lots of business cards. It’s advisable to attend an introductory session beforehand. These sessions usually precede a social on the same day. However, there is no problem if you only want to socialize.

Registration…

Conference BagAttendees are kindly requested to get there as early as possible. Come directly to the reception desk and hand in your bar-coded event ticket. It’s as easy as that and you are clocked in OK.

 

Goodie Bag…

Free SamplesPick up your event package which includes everything you need for this event. There’s also a bunch of stuff supplied by our partners. These are quality product samples and service discount vouchers from Value Add Partners. Anyone can become a partner and position their products and services at various events.

Welcome Cocktail…

CocktailsGet the ball rolling with sponsored cocktails. Good booze does not come cheap, so we usually rely on a Value Add Partner to do the honours and step up to the plate (bar). Please humour them with a glowing toast!

PresentationsJust to be polite, the host will tap on a glass and draw your attention. No major speech. Mostly quick welcome words, a few "thanks" and general housekeeping notes. These events are free to attend, but someone has to pay the bills. Hence, the real reason for this opening address, is to introduce the event sponsor…

PartnersWith a strict time limit, the representative is given the floor, to peddle their products and services. No drawn-out presentations and definitely no PowerPoint. Only 15 minutes max and strict penalties enforced. For every minute over the allotted time, twenty three free drinks (per attendee) to be purchased at the bar.

Luncheon BuffetRefreshments and an opportunity to network. Usually it’s a cash bar, but the snacks may be sponsored by a Value Add Partner, so thanks for listening to a presentation for a few minutes. A small price to pay for some "free" munchies.

Optional Dinner…

Evening DinnerThe evening finishes off with an optional dinner. These are not officially part of the event and it’s completely free-format. Some delegates call it a day, while others peel off into groups and do their own thing. There are rumours that some of these dinners develop into fairly serious parties.

This is a good place to start, before deciding to attend an Introductory Session, Advanced Workshop or go for Leadership Training. You are sure to meet like-minded folks at all the events.
